Respect Personal Boundaries: Respect personal boundaries and avoid sharing sensitive personal information such as home address, financial details, or other private matters during the meet-up.
Share Details with Trusted Contacts: Inform a trusted friend or family member about your plans, including the name of the restaurant, the time of the meet-up, and the contact details of your dining companion.
Stay in Communication: Keep your phone charged and stay in communication throughout the meet-up. Inform your trusted party of any changes in plans or if you feel uneasy at any point.
Arrange Your Own Transportation: Arrive and depart from the meet-up location using your own transportation, such as a car, taxi, or rideshare service.
Pay Your Own Bill: Always be responsible for paying your own bill at the restaurant. Avoid sharing financial responsibilities or exchanging money with your dining companion. Solono is working on providing safe ways to conduct financial transactions in the future.
Avoid Excessive Alcohol Consumption: Drink responsibly and avoid excessive alcohol consumption during the meet-up to ensure your safety and sound judgment.
Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off or uncomfortable during your interactions with a potential dining companion, trust your instincts and consider canceling the meet-up. You are free to settle your bill anytime during the meal and leave.
Report Suspicious Behavior: If you encounter any suspicious behavior or feel unsafe during the meet-up, report it to the app's support team immediately either through post meet safety review or thorough email at contact@solonoapp.com.
Rate: Make sure to provide the safety rating after your meet to the party you dined with. This helps Solono to ensure the safety of you and others in the future.
