How does the billing work?

Similar to when you dine with friends, all individuals on the app are responsible for their own billing. We insist you pay separately to the restaurant. In the situation where you want to go dutch, please ensure that you have paid or have been paid the complete amount at the restaurant before parting. Solono is not responsible for billing or the lack of it. We are currently working to provide you a payment option on the app.

Is this a dating app?

The intention of the app is to provide a platform where people who do not like to eat alone can find others like themselves. However, it can be used for dating or professional networking if you intend to do so. Just make sure that the ‘dating’ or ‘networking’ option is selected under the ‘looking for’ section which will convey your intentions to the other party.

Can more than two people join for a meal?

We currently do not provide group dining options.

Are there options to meet people with similar dietary preferences?

Each user must complete their meal preferences in their profile. You can choose to match only with individuals who share your meal preferences. Before matching, be sure to check their profile and review their meal preferences to ensure they align with yours.

What if I need to cancel a meal/meet up?

We are working on incorporating the feature to cancel the meal or meet up. Until our next update, we request the users to message their matched meal partners to convey change of plans or cancellations.

Are there any guidelines to use the app?

To ensure everyone's safety, we have established safety guidelines accessible through both the app and the website (safety guidelines). Please adhere to these guidelines to help create a secure and enjoyable experience for all users, and regularly review them for any updates or changes
